Pop-up installation – A version with emphasis on decolonial approach in form & content.

The installation is meant to offer an arena for reflection, conversation and hands-on investigative experience.

The anthropologist-filmmaker presents (post)colonial experiences inside her Indo-European family. Visitors are invited to experience this encounter for themselves in a space filled with fragmented memories, objects, and documents. An environment for shifting positions towards past and present memory politics.
The pop-up installation will consist of a selection from all available materials (objects, furniture, documents, food, etc) and various screens (short loops, longer scenes, different lengths & sizes). Thusfar 75 min of moving image is available divided over about 15 screens.

The installation will be set up in a separate room.
Friday at noon there will be a special presentation by the filmmaker giving some background information concerning the installation.
